  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup Fond O’ Foods Butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup milk (can substitute with Half and half)

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and lightly grease baking sheet.

Step 2
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter.

Step 3
In a small bowl, mix egg and milk and stir into flour mixture until moistened.

Step 4
Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface and knead briefly. Roll dough out into ½ inch thick round. Cut into 8 wedges and place on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
