Here’s a crowd pleaser recipe that’s fun and delicious for people of all ages (young and old).
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 4
- 1 box of elbow macaroni
- ¾ cup Fond O’ Foods butter
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 cups milk
- 2.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or try replacing it with our Emmentaler cheese!)

You could also add FOND O’ FOODS Bavarian Emmentaler
PREPARATION
Step 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the elbow macaroni. Cook until al dente and drain. Set aside pasta.
Step 2
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper until smooth (about 5 minutes).
Step 3
Pour milk into butter-flour mixture and stir continuously until smooth and bubbling (about 4-5 minutes).
Step 4
Add cheddar cheese or Emmentaler cheese to mixture and stir until cheese is melted (2-4 minutes).
Step 5
Fold macaroni into cheese sauce until coated.
