Lemon Butter Seared Salmon

Pan-seared salmon is an easy dinner to make and impress your family and friends. Adding Fond O’ Foods butter will add a rich, sweet and creamy flavor to the salmon and you can easily pair this dish with sides and salads for a complete meal. Servings: 4

  • 1 boneless salmon fillets cut into 4 filets
  • 5 tablespoon Fond O’ Foods Butter
  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed from 2 lemons
  • 1 teaspoon salt & pepper
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • Freshly chopped parsley to garnish

Step 1
Season salmon on both sides with salt and pepper.

Step 2
Grate lemon zest and squeeze 2 lemons for lemon juice. Set aside.

Step 3
Heat non-stick pan over medium heat and add butter. Stir frequently to prevent splatter until it starts to turn light brown (about 3-7 minutes depending on your heat).

Step 4
Add seasoned salmon and cook uncovered on the first side (3-4 minutes) or until golden brown. Flip salmon and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until flaky.

Step 5
In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add lemon zest and juice to the pan. Spoon sauce over salmon as it cooks.

Step 6
Transfer salmon to plates and drizzle with lemon butter sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley and black pepper to taste. Serve and enjoy!
