We strive to import great tasting food, made from pure ingredients in a natural, harmonious, and sustainable environment. We believe food nurtures not only our bodies, but also our souls.

OUR FOUNDER

Birgit Huffman grew up in the rustic, beautiful high mountains of Southern Germany, savoring the delicious and healthy foods the pristine region has to offer. Her love for Butter and Cheese runs deep in her veins. Her Grandfather was the butter and cheese maker in this Alpine region. Her Mother wrapped butter by hand and drove the milk truck at a young age. Birgit received extensive training in this Alpine region in the art of making cheese, quality control, marketing, accounting, transportation, distribution, and exportation to various countries. She chose to apply for a position in the United States of America, and with her extensive knowledge and work ethics soon became General Manager for a European Cheese Maker. After being in the US specialty cheese business for 13 years, Birgit felt a calling to stay connected to her native homeland and created FOND O’ FOODS. Connecting with her roots fueled her passion to share the deliciousness of the Alpine mountains with American households nationwide.
